Fusion:AIR 2022 Residency Open Call

The Qolony Association invites you to apply to the open call for Fusion:AIR 2022 – Artistic residencies in Research Institutes.

This edition’s theme is Unexpected (RE) solutions: How the process drives the outcome.

The call is addressed to Romanian artists, over the age of 18, who work at the intersection between art and science, who have a particular interest in scientific concepts and processes, their impact on society and technological innovation.
We are looking for 4 artists or artist groups to create new dimensions in their artistic practice through meetings with the scientific world inhabited by the 4 partner institutes of the Fusion:AIR 2022:
At the end of the residency, the artists’ works will be exhibited in the final exhibition, in September 2022.
The curators of the 2022 edition of the Fusion:AIR project are Floriama Candea and Andrei Tudose.
